01Agreement to These Terms

By accessing this website, requesting documentation, or engaging Royal Business Service's B.V. (“RBS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these terms and by any signed engagement agreement. If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use of our website.

RBS provides back-office and operations support throughout Sint Maarten, including:

• Accounting: bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and payroll using tools such as QuickBooks and Payroll4.
• Tax assistance: guidance and support for local tax compliance and documentation.
• Immigration assistance: support with business-related residency and work-permit applications.
• Administrative support: handling of routine operational and office tasks.
• Real estate and property management: support with property transactions and management.

04Eligibility

Our Services are available to individuals and entities with the legal capacity to enter into contracts. By engaging us, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

05Scope & Engagement

The specific tasks, deliverables, timelines, and fees are defined in each individual engagement. Where a signed engagement conflicts with these general terms, the signed engagement takes precedence.

Any work that falls outside the agreed scope may require a revised quote, which we will share with you before proceeding.

06Quotes, Fees & Invoicing

Fees depend on the scope of work. We aim to provide transparent pricing up front, usually during the initial consultation. Quotes are valid only for the period stated in the quote.

Invoices are issued according to each engagement and state the amount due and the payment due date.

07Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable by the due date stated. RBS may pause or stop work where invoices are overdue. Overdue accounts may be subject to collection costs where permitted by local law.

08Appointments & Cancellations

You can schedule a consultation or meeting through our online booking system, by email, or by WhatsApp. We often meet clients at a relaxed local venue such as a coffee shop.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please let us know as early as possible so we can offer the slot to another client.

09Client Responsibilities

To help us deliver quality work, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete accounting records and business information on time.
• Respond promptly to questions or requests needed to complete the work.
• Remain responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
• Comply with all laws and regulations that apply to your business.

Our work depends on the accuracy of the information you supply. We are not responsible for problems caused by late, incomplete, or incorrect information.

10Confidentiality

We keep client information confidential and use it only to provide the Services requested, except where disclosure is required by law. We expect the same confidentiality regarding any methods or materials we share with you.

11Accounting Services

Bookkeeping is based on the documents you provide. While we perform regular checks, the accuracy of the output depends on the accuracy of the source records. You remain responsible for reviewing and approving financial statements and filings before they are submitted.

12Tax Assistance

We help prepare and organize information for tax compliance. Processing times and final decisions rest with the relevant tax authorities. We do not guarantee specific tax outcomes; you remain responsible for your overall tax position.

13Immigration Assistance

We help assemble and organize the documents required for business-related residency and work-permit applications. Processing times and approvals are determined by the relevant authorities. We do not control or guarantee regulatory decisions.

14Administrative Support

We handle routine administrative tasks to reduce your operational workload. Tasks are defined per engagement, and additional work outside the agreed scope may affect pricing.

15Real Estate & Property Management

Property information shown on our website is for illustration only, may change without notice, and does not constitute a binding offer. Actual terms are confirmed only in a separate signed agreement.

16Intellectual Property

The design, layout, images, and text on this website are owned by or licensed to Royal Business Service's B.V. Copying, scraping, or reusing this material for commercial purposes without written permission is prohibited.

Either party may end an engagement in line with the terms set out in that engagement. We may suspend or stop work where accounts are unpaid, required information is missing, or there is a legal or compliance concern. Work completed up to the termination date remains billable.

22Force Majeure

RBS is not responsible for delays or interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, utility or internet outages, or government disruptions. We will take reasonable steps to limit any impact.

23Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sint Maarten. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Sint Maarten.

24Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to stay aligned with applicable laws. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of our website after changes means you accept the updated terms.
